It's Halloween time. Just remembering Abby in her precious Raggedy Ann costume 2 years ago. We went to Spook City in Benton and we pushed her around in her stroller and EVERYONE kept saying how cute she was! She had so much fun and I loved watching her because she knew she was something special! That's why I love this picture because you can tell by the smile on her face that she knew this was a special night. We had so much fun and she absolutely was the cutest little girl in her Raggedy Ann costume!  I miss you Abby Grace and I can not wait to hold you again! <3

Just remembering you Abby. Shannon brought this up at our last BPA (Bereaved Parents of America) meeting and I have found myself smiling with this memory on my mind.

When Abby was about 18-20 months old, she went through a phase when she did NOT want to lay down for a nap. She had always really enjoyed naptime so we didn't know what to do with her. We would lay her down, give her all of her things, blanket over her, blue passy rag in passy and in mouth, pulled the string on her little toy and turned on the musical thing attached to her bed. Then we would say 'night night abby, love you, see you in a little bit' So fifteen minutes later we would hear her in her room walking around the bed, hitting on the walls or shaking the bed. She wasn't upset or anything, just playing. So we would have to go in there and tell her to lay down. But as soon as she heard the door knob turning, she would fall down on her booty and scoot in the corner of the bed, she was still in the sitting position but she would have her head turned to the side and her eyes closed like she was going to fool us into believing she was actually asleep! It was the funniest thing. So cute!!! It was kinda hard to get onto her when she had her head turned to the side, eyes closed and a big smile behind that passy!

I miss those days but I know she is happiest now!  I love you Abby and I can't wait to hold you again!

Abigail was a huge fan of Mr. Potato Head! Her speech pathologist had one of those big potato head shaped container with two heads and all the little pieces. Kate only let her play with it after she did all her work and Abby was so so happy when she got to play with it! So for her 2nd birthday, her Uncle Lewis sent us some money for a birthday gift. I knew exactly what to get her because by this time, she was very attached to Kate's toy.

So from around the end of Feb through April 1st, she played with that toy every single day! She never learned how to walk so every morning we would get her out of bed and put her in her favorite little spot on the couch. She sat on a little pad because her diapers almost always leaked. So we would make her a little spot and she would wiggle her little booty around and get comfy. Then she would put her hands on her head and say 'uh". She couldn't talk very much but she knew that toy was something with the word head in it! So Maddie would say "you want tato head?" and Abby would say 'yes' so off Maddie would run to find it ad Abby was smiling and kicking her feet the whole time. She did this every morning and never got tired of that toy. Only once did we send her to stay the night at MeMe's and PawPaw's without that toy and it wasn't long before someone was headed to our house to get it. She just got on their bed,, wiggled her little booty around and then put her hands on her head...my dad said "uh oh... someone's gotta go get her potato head!" It was precious!

I miss her so much but I know she is okay! Can't wait to hold her again!
