Abigail Grace Earnest

It seems that when we are trusting in others to do what is best for the ones we love, we forget that we carry with ourselves the best medicine.  Abigail must have been a brave girl to endure such hardship and place her trust in everyone she knew.  Again we show that we are not so smart and that the greatest minds do not know everything.  This experience should humble everyone and help us to remember the dreams of a little girl to just 'be normal' and play like everyone else.  Well, she must have been very special to live the life she did and in such a short time make such an impact on all that we're lucky to know her.  Let her example shine to those who do not believe that great things come in small packages.  May her peace be a blessing to all who knew her.
 

                     

 

 

Wanted to express my thanks for all the kinds words, candles, and graphics especially in the past month.  I apologize that I have not been able to be as faithful at lighting candles recently.  Know that you and your angel are always in my thoughts and prayers.

A Mother's Prayer

Lord, today is Mother's Day, but my heart is split in two.

Half is with the child still here,

The other with the child that is now there with you.

All the lovely presents are a nice surprise,

But the one thing I want most is missing,

And tears fill my eyes.

I know when you sent him, Lord,

You didn't promise how long he would stay.

All you said was to love him and treasure each and every day.

But Lord, it crushed my heart when you called for his return.

I feel like half a Mom, as I ache, weep and yearn.

But Lord, tell him I love him just as much as I did before.

And could you please make a window,

so he can see through heaven's door ?

Let him see that he is missed and thought of with each breath.

And that a Mother's love begins before life, and does not end with death.

So, on this Mother's Day, the Greatest Gift, I give to you.

For Lord, I know you missed him and you loved him, too.

Abigail was such a beautiful baby.  You and your family will forever be in my prayers.  You have been such a testimony to others who have had such terrible times as you with your sweet spirit and willingness to laugh again.  It was so great to meet you. Thanks for being such a testimony!

You did an awesome job on this Sara.  I could never imagine what you have been through.  I Love you sooo much and cannot wait to see Abby in Heaven one day!  ♥Bridgette♥
